Lane Frost Health and Rehabilitation Center is a private, not for profit Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), located in southeastern Oklahoma. At Lane Frost Health and Rehabilitation Center we use an interdisciplinary team approach to treatment specifically designed for patients that need a longer acute care recovery period of 25 days or more. We specialize in the medical management of patients with complex, unresolved, acute, chronic, or catastrophic illnesses, as well as multi-system disease processes. Patients benefit from our unique LTACH environment that delivers acute medical care and therapy services while maximizing our patients recover process. Our disciplinary team approach to treatment is led by a select group of dedicated local physicians who are committed to providing quality patient care. Our nurses, therapists, nutritionists, and case managers work with our physicians to assist our patients in getting personalized, compassionate care in the most efficient and appropriate manner. Each patient is unique and the pre-admission evaluation will begin the treatment plan necessaryh to identifyr specific goals during hospitilazation. At Lane Frost Health and Rehabilitation Center, our staff provides on-going communication and education to patients and their families throughout their stay. We understand that patients and families are important members of the treatment team, and that building good relationships will enhance the healing process. The late Lane Frost was a champion bull rider who died as a result of an injury sustained when he was bull riding. Just as Lane was dedicated to the sport he loved, earning him worldwide recognition, our dedication is to continuously strive to be the best in the services we provide to the patient population we serve. Our mission: To enhance the quality of live for individuals who suffer from long-term complicated illnesses or injuries by providing opportunities from care in a professional health care environment. Our 60 bed facility is quite unique in style, replicating the magnificent antebellum look of the mid 1800’s era. The suite of patient rooms include two semi-private patient suites which offer a spacious sleeping area with night stand and clothes hutch, and adjoin to the common living room area with dining table and television for socializing with friends and family which provides luxury and convenience to patients and their families during their stay.
